Def Jam Fight for New York is an all new hip hop-inspired 3D fighting game developed by Electronic def jam game Arts. It's been published on September 21st, 2020 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, and Gamecube.
It is an update to its predecessor, Def Jam Vendetta, which was released in 2020. In the Vendetta match, players control one of many hip hop stars that are vying for the title of"Def Jam King." In this game, the rappers are attempting to beat the rap mogul, Rico, that controls the most important studio.
The main character of this game is called Remy. He is among the greatest dancers in town and a member of the"Ladies of L'Orleans," a group of ladies which are also quite successful in their own faith. Remy can be a part of"The Pack", a group of young men that have similar interests to the ones Remy enjoys. As a part of"The Pack", Remy will battle rap artists that are all competing for the title of"Def Jam King".
The sport consists of roughly 40 degrees, with each level consisting of two different rap stars, and one obstacle course. Each degree will also have a boss fight the player must conquer.
If you enjoy dancing games, you will love this game. It's lots of different music which will make you want to dance whenever you're playing with this game.
If you are a hip hop fan, you should definitely give this game a try. There is not a lot of learning curve into the sport, which is great. If you've played the last edition, you will know how to play it without needing to read any instruction guide.
The sport has four phases to beat. The first stage is a street battle between Remy and Rico. You will need to use hip hop moves in order to defeat this particular fight. The next degree is an alley fight, where you'll have to hit on rap artists to create them collapse.
The final degree is a subway fight, and you will need to hit on rap artists to make them fall on the paths below the street. There's also a boss battle at the end of the game, but it isn't so hard. Difficult because you will be able to Dodge the bullets which will come out of your opponent's rifle.
The graphics in the game are a bit on the boring side, but it can't be helped. The music and graphics are done nicely. They don't look as good as they used to when the match was made for your Xbox. The audio is very good and seems as it does in real life.
