Def Jam Fight for New York is a new hip hop-inspired 3D fighting game developed by Electronic Arts. It's been released on September 21st, 2020 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, and Gamecube.

It is an upgrade to its predecessor, Def Jam Vendetta, which premiered in 2020. In the Vendetta match, players control one of the many hip hop stars which are vying for the title of"Def Jam King." In this match, the rappers are trying to beat the rap mogul, Rico, who controls the main studio.

The major character of the game is called Remy. He's among the greatest dancers in the city and a member of the"Ladies of all L'Orleans," a group of women which are also very effective in their own rights. Remy can be a part of"The Package", a group of young men who have similar interests to the ones Remy enjoys. As a part of"The Package", Remy will combat rap artists which are all competing for the title of"Def Jam King".

The game consists of roughly 40 degrees, with each level consisting of two distinct rap stars, as well as one obstacle course. Each degree will also have a boss fight the player must conquer.
